Querétaro is a major city in the central Bajío region of Mexico. There are connections to all major cities in Mexico including the most well known beach resorts of Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Cancún (October is hurricane season in Cancún so we would like to discourage you from factoring it into your plans). There are international connections to the US via Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and San Diego (via Tijuana)
For most international guests it will be most convenient to connect via Mexico City. Unless you don’t plan to leave the airport in Mexico City, we would personally recommend considering the luxury coach service provided by ETN. Their buses are very clean and comfortable with plenty of legroom and there are some beautiful views of the mountains along the way
If you do plan on spending time in Mexico City, please contact us directly and we will be happy to provide you with recommendations
Renting a car is a possibility if you are feeling adventurous. Please be warned that Mexicans are rather competitive drivers. We would also like to warn against driving on the long highways at night. The parts of Mexico that we’ve mentioned on this website are generally safe but like most places around the world, they are reliably safer during the day

Gifts
Your presence is the best gift possible, we are so grateful for all of our guests who will travel across Mexico and indeed the world to share our special day with us. Guests should not feel obligated to bring gifts, we have everything that we need in our new home. We are however planning our dream honeymoon to Japan and any contribution to our Japan fund would be greatly and humbly appreciated
We would love it if guests could bring beer mats from their hometowns or from their travels. Adam is planning to make a display on the ceiling of our basement as a long-term reminder of our wedding day. It would be awesome if you could write us a note or sign them!
